2nd-9th April, 2006 A Festival of Christian Celebration
From Sunday 2nd April to Sunday 9th April (Palm Sunday), a team of talented and enthusiastic bible students from Sydney Missionary & Bible College will be visiting Scottsdale and taking part in various activities & events organised by Dorset churches. There will be special events for every age group and all the family over this week. Below is a schedule of the main things that are on. Special events to invite families & friends to are highlighted in brown (or blue links).

Saturday 1st April 8:30am Combined churches prayer-meeting for Good News Week at Gospel Hall (Brethren) 6:00pm Team Dinner & Planning Meeting Sunday 2nd April 9am Combined Bridport Churches Service at Uniting Church Bridport 10am Participation by SMBC team at St Barnabas' Anglican Scottsdale 4.30pm Involvement @ St John's Branxholm 4.30pm G-Zone: games n God at Barney's hall, Scottsdale Monday 3rd 9.30am to 12.45pm "A Woman's Day" at the Uniting Church Scottsdale. Craft (beading); pampering & medical discussion about women's depression by a female medical doctor; gospel message; morning tea & lunch. Theme: “Good Health, now & forever!” Crèche provided! 2:30pm Music & Ministry to residents of James Scott Wing of NESM Tuesday 4th 12:40-1:20pm Lunchtime meeting at Scottsdale High School. 2:30pm Music & Ministry to residents of Aminya Hostel Wednesday 5th 12.40 to 1.20pm SUPA Club at Bridport Primary 2:30pm Easter Assembly at Winnaleah District School 6.30 for 7.00pm Outreach dinner at Scottsdale Hotel (Kendalls) NOTE: RSVPs must be in by Thursday 30th March!!! Thursday 6th 10:30 am Easter Assembly at Scottsdale Primary in morning 2.30pm Easter Assembly at Bridport Primary Friday 7th 9.30am-11:00am Services at Aminya Hostel & James Scott Wing 12.00pm Team Meeting with Anglican Bishop about ministry in Tasmania & Presbyterian Church of Tasmania Moderator about church planting in Tasmania. 6.30 to 10.30pm Disco at Barney's hall, Scottsdale for Primary and High School kids. Professional local DJ with light, smoke, 60s to today music. Parents most welcome. The team will present a skit/Christian message half way through the night. 7.00 to 9.00pm Youth night (grades 3-6) in Winnaleah hall. Saturday 8th 7.30 to 9.00am Men's Breakfast at Hilltop Christian Church, Scottsdale. Brekkie, a testimony and gospel message. Invitations for you & your friends available. Sunday 9th 9.00am Bridport Uniting Church - team members run Kid's Club 10.30am Combined Churches Outreach Service & Festival - North East Park.
